Since November 2019, she has been living and working in Saint-Paul-de-Vence.\r\n\r\nShe uses the etching technique to give plywood its new wooden nature. She combines this technique with painting and drawing. The imprinted bark evokes skin, life and the original matrix from which the forest and humanity are made. Her work allows us to see and touch a three-dimensional space between nature and texture.\r\n\r\nFor over 20 years, Zo\u00e9 Ouvrier has been denouncing the imbalance of human impact and its uprooting. All her work revolves around this sensitivity and a possible opening to freedom.\r\nAs soon as she graduated from the Beaux-Arts, she gained international recognition. Some collectors commissioned her to create imposing works, decorating the four walls of a single room, for bedrooms or dining rooms.
