For more than thirty years, Marc Raimbault has been working with wood. His technique, part of an age-old tradition, further elevates the precious woods he uses, such as Macassar ebony, through the addition of gold dust and metal inlays to the wood grain.<\/span><\/p>\r\n Marc Raimbault\u2019s work has become a part of numerous prestigious collections \u2013 both private and public. He has been rewarded with many prizes and distinctions, including the Grand Prix National des M\u00e9tiers d\u2019Art (National Grand Prize for Arts and Crafts) in 1997, the Prix R\u00e9gional Dunhill Prestige International (Dunhill Prestige International Regional Prize) in 1998, the Prix R\u00e9gional du Concours des Ateliers d\u2019Art de France (French Art Workshops Regional Prize) in 2012.
