Once again, maison parisienne is back in London during the PAD and the Frieze art & design fairs. This autumn, Maison Assouline collaborates with the gallery to unveil an extraordinary curiosity cabinet – which exclusively celebrates objects of rare workmanship and beauty.
Within this beautifully restored landmark building, located at the heart of London’s, one can escape into an oasis of culture and calm, and indulge in a large collection of books while experiencing light gourmet dishes at the Maison’s Swans Bar.
maison parisienne occupies the entire top floor of Maison Assouline, an intriguing bespoke library space designed by Martine and Prosper Assouline themselves, where objects of primitive art and vintage furniture can be found alongside rare books in a welcoming space that encourages visitors to linger over a coffee.
Both the gallery and the establishment cultivate a love and taste for the art of living and exceptional artists. Thus, the exhibition “Oh My Cabinet!” showcases the artworks of more than forty outstanding artists. It includes a wonderful collection of jewellery, sculptures, contemporary objects and unpublished works, to name but a few, made by the some of the most finest French artists and craftsmen.
