Julie Percillier was inspired by the delicate way leaves decompose to form natural lace. The artist has accelerated this process to blend hand-embroidered leaves with these natural leaves whose ageing has been stopped. All the leaves are assembled on stems that have been wired and tied with thread. Plant embroidery creates a harmonious dialogue between textile art and nature, offering a refined and sustainable aesthetic.
