From January 29 to April 26, 2026, the Beyond Our Horizons exhibition will be on display at the Galerie du 19M in Paris/Aubervilliers. Following the success of its Japanese edition, it returns to France in a redesigned version, celebrating the creative dialogue between Japanese and French artisans and designers. For this exhibition, Simone Pheulpin, alongside 30 French and Japanese artists and artisans, is collaborating with Maison Goossens, a goldsmith’s workshop, to create Leiko: a series of three sculptures combining cotton and pewter, where tradition and innovation interact in a subtle trompe-l’oeil effect. This exhibition marks new creative territory for Simone Pheulpin, more than 50 years after the start of her career.
