Patricia Lemaire

Jewelry Creator

Patricia Lemaire’s work explores the relationship between body and object, and the movement of that body in space. Expressive and narrative, her pieces bear all the distinctive signs of jewellery while incorporating a variety of techniques and materials. As a goldsmith and jewellery creator, Patricia Lemaire uses a wide variety of materials and techniques. She combines natural materials such as ostrich eggs and bone with traditional materials such as nickel silver, and precious ones such as gold and silver.

Patricia Lemaire has been making meticulous, fantastical art objects for maison parisienne since 2009. By methodically applying jewellery-making techniques, she creates a singular vocabulary inspired by an imaginary cabinet of curiosities.

Patricia Lemaire has worked with numerous fashion and haute couture designers. Her jewellery creations can be found in the fonds de bijoux contemporains at Cagnes-sur-Mer, in the permanent conservation collection at the Musée Galliera in Paris, and in the Galerie des Bijoux of the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris.
