Gold of Time

For the third year in a row, maison parisienne partnered with the prestigious Hôtel Plaza Athénée to unveil yet another spectacular exhibition. “Or du Temps” celebrates the expertise and unique talents of France’s top craftsmen, designers and artists. French stylist, corset-maker and embroiderer Hubert Barrère set the tone with an origial artwork, a first collaboration between a Fashion house and the Manufacture de Sèvres, revolving around the famous « breast-bowl ». A true alchemist’s blend of gold, thread and fire. Strolling past this first display, the visitor was greeted by a parade of unique art objects: ceramics decorated with precious metals, examples of contemporary coppersmith, audacious furniture including ingenious cabinetmaking, many-faceted mirrors, but also vanities, opulent jewellery and superb embroidery.
