maison parisienne takes part in Paris Design Week, from 9 to 18 September 2021.
This not-to-be-missed event that celebrates design and contemporary creation will be the perfect opportunity to present a selection of textile design works by Aurélie Mathigot, as part of her exhibition “Galerie de Portraits” at Studio Harcourt in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
The Parisian house has given carte blanche to Aurélie Mathigot to exhibit a selection of textile design works with shifting boundaries between function and aesthetics at Studio Harcourt. Rugs with an abundance of textile materials, contemporary tapestries with traditional weaving and knotting, surprising plaids… Aurélie Mathigot will present, between her embroidered photographs and the iconic photographs of the Studio Harcourt, a resolutely design work.
