In New York, Maison Parisienne gallery presents an exhibition dedicated to French feather master Julien Vermeulen.
For his first exhibition in the United States, Maison Parisienne unveils a selection of the artist’s unique artworks, in collaboration with Par Excellence New York.
Through decorative panels crafted from goose, peacock, turkey, and pheasant feathers, the artist explores iridescence, light, and the depth of black, drawing inspiration from Kasimir Malevitch and Pierre Soulages.
Burned, curled, woven, and dyed, feathers are transformed into striking contemporary artworks, pushing the boundaries of an ancestral craft.
“The Art of Feathers” reveals a bold and modern vision of exceptional feather craftsmanship.
